Marine Cultural Health Programme

The Marine Cultural Health Programme is a kaupapa (initiative), developed in partnership between mana whenua hapū of Ahuriri and Napier Port, to monitor and protect the health of the Ahuriri marine environment as the port builds its new 6 Wharf project.

The preliminary report of the Marine Cultural Health Programme has been prepared in 2021 as part of a public launch event. The Programme itself will be maintained and updated as a living document so that it can be confidently used to support future public engagement.
